But now I take it ALL BACK!!! The album sounds pretty damn cool! IGNORE MEEEE!!!!

Kudos to MGMT for what sounds like a pretty drastic departure from the hook laden (albeit deliciously) pop-flavored first album. Not that I didn’t enjoy it thoroughly, I just think it kicks ass when a band that stumbles into unexpected popularity has the guts to change their sound so completely, and do it in a compelling way. Can’t wait to hear it in full when it goes on sale!
