“Obscenely boring”- i love that! I don’t listen to radio much, but wfnx seems to think green day, red hot chili peppers, nirvana, and jane’s addiction are the bands everyone wants to hear ad nauseum. They’re stuck in the early 90’s.
Yeah, I see what you mean about wfnx. They fall prey to the same sort of repetitiousness as other stations..though if I had my choice I’d listen to those bands over Josh Groban and Colby Caillat any day. Still, a little variety would be nice, right? I will give fnx some props for playing Spoon…and just last night I heard Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Metric, both of whom I enjoy. So, you know, I do think they try (or maybe that’s just their Friday night programming? I don’t listen enough to even be sure!). Still, when given the choice I would rather listen to my own playlists and music rather than turn on the radio, whether it is 98.7 The Bay (of mediocrity) or FNX…
Hey, want to buy my books? There are two volumes available and they're on sale at Jetpack Press. You can buy online and if you ask Ralph when you order, and he remembers to tell me, I'll put a sketch in the book and personalize it for you.
