Not a wasted trip after all

Matt was looking for Admiral Radley, Wavves or The Love Language on vinyl, but Bullmoose didn’t have ’em.

I checked out Bulmoose online… Wavves- King of the Beach and Love Language- Libraries both have release dates of 8/3/2010 and they have a copy of Wavves self titled lp available, as well as Ad. Radleys I Heart California. You can ask Bullmoose to ship them to the Portsmouth store. Cool bands, just watched ’em on youtube!

Yeah, I checked BM online the day we went, and they were all listed as in stock in LP format! Grrrr. But as it turns out, Wavves is out digitally only until the 3rd, and LL is out on CD and digitally only until the 3rd. Both are great albums, by the way! Ad Rad is comprised of Grandaddy and Earlimart. Earlimart is one of our faves, and I’m very taken by that album.

I’ll have to delve further into the listening… I’m already in love with ‘Lalita’- what a catchy song!
I love that you and Jen are into vinyl- can I ask what kind of turntable you’re using- usb or old school?

  4. Matt says:

Yeah, vinyl is awesome! We don’t have an old school turntable, exactly, but it’s not USB either. It’s a pretty basic set up, though we did buy some new Polk speakers in the spring and now it sounds really, really great!

  5. Jen says:

Yeah, do it! Vinyl is definitely worth it.
